Doctoral School at the University of Silesia in Katowice announces the\u00a0opening of the call for applications to the project of scholarship exchange<\/strong>\u00a0implemented within the PROM programme.<\/p>\nEligible mobility participants<\/strong>: PhD students of the University of Silesia (doctoral studies and doctoral schools), who are under 40 years of age.<\/strong><\/p>\nThe project encompasses the following forms of mobility<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n- participation in short forms of education, i.e. courses, workshops, professional internships or industrial internships, study visits, including those implemented at entrepreneurs<\/li>\n
- obtaining materials for a PhD thesis<\/li>\n
- active participation in a foreign conference (including, e.g., participation in a poster session or a flash talk)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Eligible countries<\/strong>: of stay and performance of training as well as countries from which incoming mobility participants come to University of Silesia in Katowice: unlimited<\/p>\nDuration of mobility<\/strong>: from 5 to 30 days (including 2 days for travel)<\/p>\nAll outgoing and incoming mobility activities carried out within the project must be completed\u00a0by 30.09.2020.<\/strong><\/p>\nFinancing:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Flat rates of financial support for costs of travel, health insurance, OC, NNW, costs of visa fees or fees connected to legalisation of stay, depending on the distance<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
2.Flat rates of financial support for costs of subsistence, depending on the country and length of stay (from PLN 260 to PLN 800 per day),<\/p>\n
\n- Costs of conference\/training\/course fees.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
Financing is paid out in the form of a scholarship.<\/p>\n

Applications are subject to formal and substantive assessment in the project office, which is checked by the qualifying committee and experts representing the scientific discipline appropriate to the given application. Each application is evaluated by two experts. After all the assessments, a ranking list is prepared and with those qualified to participate in the project is signed a financing agreement.<\/p>\n
The project will provide at least 60 mobility in the form of doctoral students training.<\/p>\n
