Link: <a href=\"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/szkola-doktorska\/en\/indywidualny-plan-badawczy\/indywidualny-plan-badawczy-2019-2020\/\">https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/szkola-doktorska\/en\/indywidualny-plan- badawczy\/indywidualny-plan-badawczy-2019-2020\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The attachments to the report are publications and other works subject to evaluation &#8211; both published and submitted for printing &#8211; as well as substantive content (e.g., reports) regarding internships, cooperation, etc.<\/li>\n<li>The report should be submitted to the DS office by September 30 of a given year:\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li>in the original version (signed with an electronic certificate to<a href=\"mailto:szkola.doktorska@us.edu.pl\"> szkola.doktorska@us.edu.pl<\/a> or by handwritten signature to the Doctoral School office) &#8211; without attachments <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>AND<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li>in an electronic version (in the form of a pdf file, without signatures or with an electronic signature) &#8211; with attachments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Delivery method of an electronic version:\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li>all files &#8211; reports, and attachments should be titled according to the following scheme: Surname_name_file_name (e.g., Kowalski_Jan_report_2021) &#8211; Note &#8211; files otherwise named will not be taken into account)<\/li>\n<li>all files should be uploaded to the disk via the link: <a href=\"https:\/\/ssd.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/s\/U5QFDODE6ypkVf2\">https:\/\/ssd.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/s\/U5QFDODE6ypkVf2<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        <h3 class=\"page-title text__title\">The role of the Doctoral School office in the evaluation of PhD candidates after the third year<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The DS office verifies the closure of the academic year by the doctoral candidates after submitting the signed initial report.<\/li>\n<li>The DS office compiles the documents and passes them on to the evaluation committee along with instructions on how to proceed. PhD candidates and supervisors are added to the message.<\/li>\n<li>Note &#8211; the office does not verify the documents provided.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        <h3 class=\"page-title text__title\">The work of the evaluation committee<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Meetings are held remotely no later than January 31 (2023).<\/li>\n<li>The committee chairman is responsible for organizing the remote meeting (setting the date and preparing the merger).<\/li>\n<li>All members take part in the committee meeting. In particularly justified cases, the absence of one committee member is allowed, who should provide a written opinion containing the assessment of the report by the date of the committee meeting at the latest. The presence of the committee chairman at the meeting is obligatory.<\/li>\n<li>At the invitation of the committee chairman, a doctoral student or a supervisor may participate in the meeting or part thereof.<\/li>\n<li>An absolute majority of votes takes the committee&#8217;s decisions.<\/li>\n<li>After completing the commission&#8217;s work, the chairman prepares the protocol by filling in the form below. The chairman sends the Pdf generated after completing the form to the doctoral student and supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        <h3 class=\"page-title text__title\">Tasks of the commission<\/h3>\r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The evaluation committee assesses the progress of the doctoral student&#8217;s research work on the basis of the IRP implementation report.<\/li>\n<li>The evaluation can be positive, conditionally positive or negative. If the assessment is conditionally positive, the commission assigns the PhD candidate specific tasks along with a deadline for their implementation.
