Results of recruitment for the internship program for 2025 in the project \u201eInternational from the beginning \u2013 wsparcie umi\u0119dzynarodowienia\u201d, financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange in the STER Program<\/h3>\r\n \r\n \r\n The project manager “International from the beginning – wsparcie umi\u0119dzynarodowienia” informs about the results of the recruitment for the internship program for 2025, under which doctoral students can go on one-month research internships abroad.<\/p>\n13 applications were submitted by the deadline and with all formal requirements met. After the competition procedure was completed, the committee decided to finance internships for nine doctoral students. Three doctoral students were placed on the reserve list, and one application was rejected for substantive reasons.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n \r\n How to start participation in the project<\/h3> \r\n \r\n \r\n At least 6 weeks before the departure date, the doctoral student who get financing contacts the project office at ster@us.edu.pl<\/a> to prepare the departure documents and arrange to sign an agreement with the university on financing the departure at the Doctoral School office. The intern provides the necessary data to prepare the agreement:<\/p>\n\n- name and last name<\/li>\n
- PESEL\/passport number<\/li>\n
- address of residence (in Poland)<\/li>\n
- period of the internship (first and last day of mobility).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
It should be remembered that the internship should last a month, which is understood (according to the NAWA definition) as the period from a given day of the month to the same day of the following month (e.g. from February 22 to March 22). The internship can be 2-3 days longer, but cannot be shorter. Travel days can be included in the internship days, but no more than 1 day before the internship starts and one day after the internship ends.<\/p>\n
The intern receives funds in the form of a lump sum to cover the costs of travel and accommodation and organizes the trip on his\/her own hand. The internship participant is obliged to collect financial documentation from the trip (travel tickets, accommodation costs) and present it upon request of the university. In the standard settlement, these documents are not required. \r\n
<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n \r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n \r\n Documents and activities necessary to finish and settle an internship<\/h3> \r\n \r\n \r\n Right away after the end of the mobility, the intern is obliged to settle it. To do this he or she should:<\/p>\n\n- immediately after returning, prepares and sends to ster@us.edu.pl the financial settlement of the trip on a form Rozliczenie-finansowe-wyjazdu<\/a> (must be filled out in Polish; English translation for comparison: Financial Settlement<\/a>) and makes an appointment for signing and bringin other documents,<\/li>\n
- within 14 days after completing the internship, electronically<\/strong>:\n
\n- sends a short press release about the internship, preferably with authorized photos, which can be placed on the university website<\/li>\n
- fills in the evaluation form [available from September]<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- comes to the Doctoral School office within 14 days after completing the internship<\/strong> and provides the following documents\n
\n- certificate and description of the achieved effects signed by the internship supervisor Certificate NAWA<\/a><\/li>\n
