Link to the application form: Electronic application for STER internship [external link]<\/a><\/p>\nDescription of activities that can be carried out as part of the internship program<\/strong><\/p>\nA one-month internship, understood as a stay of a doctoral student in a foreign academic, scientific or research unit, lasting 1 month*, during which tasks related to the Individual Research Plan of the doctoral student are carried out, ending with a report.<\/p>\n
In the case of doctoral students in artistic disciplines, scientific activities are understood as artistic activities.<\/p>\n
Who can apply for an internship?<\/strong><\/p>\nA person who meets all of the following conditions may apply for the internship:<\/p>\n
1) has the status of a doctoral student at a doctoral school;<\/p>\n
2) has settled the first year of education at a doctoral school on time and submitted an Individual Research Plan;<\/p>\n
3) is preparing an international doctoral project, understood as a project in which the doctoral student will cooperate with a scientist from abroad;<\/p>\n
4) has submitted a correct application using the form provided in this announcement;<\/p>\n
5) submitted a statement in the form of a representative of the foreign institution about the readiness to accept the PhD student for an internship with guaranteed scientific supervision.<\/p>\n
Allowable costs in the project<\/strong><\/p>\nDepartures are settled on a lump sum basis.<\/p>\n
The funds granted include:<\/p>\n
\n- Living costs for accommodation and meals in the amount of PLN 12,000.<\/li>\n
- Travel costs in a lump sum amount depending on the distance between the place of residence and the host institution (from PLN 1,000 to PLN 5,000).<\/li>\n
- A settlement allowance in the amount of PLN 5,000 for selected projects.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
