The procedure of appointing a supervisor for doctoral students who begin their education in the academic year 2024\/2024<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n 1. The doctoral student<\/strong>, while applying for the appointment of a supervisor prepares an application for the appointment of a supervisor and submits it on paper, with appropriate signatures, to the Doctoral School office.<\/p>\n Application template:<\/p>\n The doctoral student attaches copies of admission documents – supervisor’s opinion and draft research plan – to the application:<\/p>\n 2. The Doctoral School Office<\/strong> forwards the complete set of applications to the appropriate institute council through the Institute Evaluation and Service Office.<\/p>\n 3. \nMs. Agnieszka Filipowska is responsible for supplementing the information in USOS in the Doctoral School office (agnieszka.filipowska@us.edu.pl<\/a>).<\/p>\n
\nFirst-year doctoral students submit applications within 10 days of starting their education.
\nThe scientific council of the discipline appoints a supervisor no later than 3 months from the start of the doctoral student’s education, and no later than 45 days from the submission of the application by the doctoral student.
\nNote – doctoral students who already have a supervisor appointed and want to apply for the appointment of a second supervisor or an auxiliary supervisor or the dismissal of a supervisor or auxiliary supervisor are not limited by specific deadlines.<\/p>\n
