The competition is divided into three areas that correspond to the areas of education at the Doctoral School:<\/p>\n<p>The field of humanities, theology and the arts<\/p>\n<p>The field of science and natural sciences, and engineering and technology<\/p>\n<p>The field of social sciences<\/p>\n<p>The competition is conducted by a recruitment commission appointed by the Rector.<\/p>\n<p>The legal basis for the proceedings is Resolution No. 493\/2020 of the Senate of the University of Silesia in Katowice of January 28, 2020 <a href=\"http:\/\/us.edu.pl\/szkola-doktorska\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/50\/Nieprzypisane\/Admission-rules-to-the-Doctoral-School-1.docx\" class=\"mtli_attachment mtli_docx\" data-mtli=\"mtli_filesize6066kB\" class=\"mtli_attachment mtli_docx\" data-mtli=\"mtli_filesize6066kB\">Admission rules to the Doctoral School<\/a>\u00a0regarding the rules and procedure of recruitment to the Doctoral School at the University of Silesia in Katowice for the academic year 2020\/2021.
