The inauguration of the academic year 2025\/2026 of the Doctoral School took place on Friday, October 3, 2025, at spinPLACE, the building of the University of Silesia in Katowice. In the program: inaugural speech by Vice-Rector for Science, Agnieszka Turska-Kawa prof. US, speech by the Dean of the Doctoral School, prof. Alina \u015awie\u015bciak-Fast and a speech by the Deputy Dean of the Doctoral School, prof. Micha\u0142 Baczy\u0144ski and Chairman of the Doctoral Council Micha\u0142 G\u0119bicki, M.A. During the ceremony, doctoral students were matriculated. Inaugural lecture entitled “Is there one correct interpretation possible?” was delivered by prof.
