{"id":6249,"date":"2021-11-09T14:42:06","date_gmt":"2021-11-09T13:42:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/szkola-doktorska\/?p=6249"},"modified":"2021-11-23T10:29:19","modified_gmt":"2021-11-23T09:29:19","slug":"transform4europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/szkola-doktorska\/en\/2021\/11\/09\/transform4europe\/","title":{"rendered":"Call for papers &#8211; First Annual Transform4Europe PhD conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>First Annual Transform4Europe PhD conference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>Societal Transformations and Sustainable Development with Respect to Environment in the Post Covid-19 Digital Era\u201c<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>(An international multidisciplinary conference for PhD students and early-stage academics)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call for Papers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>8-9 December 2021<\/p>\n<p>The Transfor4Europe Alliance comprises seven universities from different regions in Europe:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Saarland University (Germany)<\/li>\n<li>The University of Alicante (Spain)<\/li>\n<li>The Estonian Academy of Arts (Estonia)<\/li>\n<li>The University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland)<\/li>\n<li>Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski (Bulgaria)<\/li>\n<li>The University of Trieste (Italy)<\/li>\n<li>Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Under the European Universities Initiative of the European Commission the Transform4Europe partners have set themselves the ambitious aim to forge a new type of transnational inter-university collaboration and contribute to the development of the European Education Area.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>First annual Transform4Europe PhD conference<\/strong> \u201cSocietal Transformations and Sustainable Development with Respect to Environment in the Post Covid-19 Digital Era\u201c will be hosted by Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski over two days in Sofia on 8-9 December 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Outstanding keynote speakers will deliver visionary and plenary speeches. Doctoral students and early-stage academics from <strong>all scientific areas<\/strong> are kindly invited to participate, showcase the results of their research work, engage in discussions with their peers and with established researchers The participants will receive a certificate jointly issued by the Transform4Europe Alliance universities. The conference papers will be published in Conference Proceedings after scientific review.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conference mode:<\/strong> Hybrid (onsite in Sofia and online via Zoom)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conference objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The conference aims to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>encourage PhD students and young researchers (including outstanding MA students) to involve in research networks with their peers from the seven Transform4Europe Alliance partners<\/li>\n<li>provide a forum for exchange of innovative research ideas, knowledge-sharing and co-creation<\/li>\n<li>embed a culture of Open Science and a new approach to the scientific process based on openness, inclusiveness and cooperation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Thematic scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The conference is thematically related to the three Transform4Europe focus areas .<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Societal transformation, community building and
