3. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 Par. 1 letter a of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) 2016/279 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation):

• Your voluntary consent to personal data processing, including publication of your image in photos and audiovisual materials, including films published by the University of Silesia in Katowice for the purpose of publication of materials promoting the implementation of Transorm4Europe project, which includes: using, making publicly available, recording, processing, reproducing, archiving, creating, storing and utilising back-up copies, publishing, including also together with images of other individuals (group photos and films) through any medium (local, Polish nationwide, foreign), including on the Internet and in print (Art. 81 Par. 1 of the Act on Copyright and Related Rights).

4. PERSONAL DATA STORAGE PERIOD

We will store your personal data until you withdraw your consent for publication of your image.

5. DATA RECIPIENTS

Your data can be shared with third parties (in particular local, Polish nationwide or foreign media).

Photos and audiovisual materials, including films created within the framework of Transform4Europe project with your participation will be provided to the project leader and partners for informational and promotional purposes. Moreover, your data may be provided to entities authorised to obtain data based on the existing legal regulations.

6. RIGHTS RELATED TO PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

You shall have the following rights to personal data processing:

1. right to withdraw your consent for personal data processing at any moment, which shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing of personal data based on your consent before its withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent by sending the statement on withdrawing your consent to our mailing address or e-mail address: transform4europe@us.edu.pl.
2. right to access your personal data,
3. right to request rectification of your personal data which are incorrect and complete your personal data that are incomplete,
4. right to request the removal of your personal data, in particular in the case of withdrawal of your consent for processing, when there are no other legal grounds for personal data processing,
5. right to request restriction in the processing of your personal data,
6. right to lodge a complaint against the processing of your personal data, due to your specific situation, in the cases when we process your personal data based on our legitimate interest, including for the purpose of direct marketing, or in order to carry out a public task. ATTENTION: in the case of personal data processing for the purpose of direct marketing you can lodge a complaint at any moment, regardless of your particular situation;
7. right to transfer your personal data, i.e. right for us to receive your personal data, in a structured, universally applied machine-readable form. You can send these data to another personal data administrator, or request us to send your data to another administrator. However, we will only do it if this is technically feasible. You shall have the right to transfer your personal data only regarding the data that we process in automatic manner, i.e. in electronic form, based on the agreement with you, or based on your consent;
8. right not to be subject only to automated decision-taking, including profiling;
9. right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory body dealing with personal data protection, i.e. President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection.
