Transform4Europe invites you to take part in the Festival of European Culture, taking place on 24-28 April at the University of Silesia in Katowice.<\/p>\n
During these 5 days, you will be able to experience various forms of artistic creation within a wide choice of film and artistic workshops, as well as discover the flavours of the Silesian cuisine and Cieszyn Land.<\/p>\n
We invite you to take part, among others, in film workshops at Krzysztof Kie\u015blowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice regarding such topics as:<\/p>\n

- Visual effects in films,<\/li>\n
- Photography and new media art,<\/li>\n
- Camera movement \u2013 panning,<\/li>\n
- Advertising photography workshops;<\/li>\n
- Polish film music,<\/li>\n
- Student films,<\/li>\n
- Working with actors;<\/li>\n
- Colour \u2013 correction in films, the magic of post-production.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Since music is a universal language that breaks the shackles of divisions and cultural differences, the event will be full of such experiences as well \u2013 during the Gala Concert at the Concert Hall at Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice, musicians will perform the Anthem of Transform4Europe. The Concert will also feature performances by international music ensembles from partner universities.<\/p>\n
The USil Faculty of Arts and Educational Science in Cieszyn invites you to take part in artistic workshops that will reign over participants’ imaginations and spark their creativity:<\/p>\n

- paratheatrical workshops: body, motion, human, object;<\/li>\n
- dancing workshops: \u2018motion of the nature\u2019;<\/li>\n
- Creature<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 workshops for transforming your clothes and creating a new one from the old with a large dose of creativity. Sewing, transforming, recycling, zero waste;<\/li>\n
- EGOsystem <\/em>\u2013 an exhibition of clothes, accessories, unique fabric and objects;<\/li>\n
- Black Light Theatre \u2013 guest theatrical performance;<\/li>\n
- \u2018Ja-My z tej ziemi.\u2019 Self-portrait Socio-Art workshops;<\/li>\n
- Game Jam \u2013 48h non-stop gaming workshop (creating a prototype of the 2023 T4EU computer game);<\/li>\n
- Pavement art mural at the Campus;<\/li>\n
- Poster and its social impact \u2013 workshops;<\/li>\n
- Monotype in graphic paint \u2013 once and for all!;<\/li>\n
- Linocut \u2013 block printing;<\/li>\n
- Ceramics in plaster forms;<\/li>\n
- Put your print on\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 lithography workshops;<\/li>\n
- Create your own comic book hero \u2013 conceptual workshops by the Studio for Comics, Narrative Art, Layout and Publishing Graphics;<\/li>\n
- Joy of Fusing\u00a0<\/em>\u2013 workshops in the artistic glass atelier;<\/li>\n
- Keep Cup <\/em>\u2013 workshops of applied arts, create a \u2018real work of art\u2019;<\/li>\n
- Performative workshop \u2013 Rose &Jazz;<\/li>\n
- Simulation games \u2013 we will touch on crucial social issues such as exclusion, gender equality, disabilities, and poverty.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
All of this could not lack an integration day \u2013 we would love us all to get to know each other and make new friendships which will bear the fruits of international collaboration. Friendship, emotions, art and relationships \u2013 these are the themes of our tourism and art integration.<\/p>\n
The mountainside of Cieszyn Land takes people\u2019s breath away \u2013 and that\u2019s the point, to merge our ideas and actions into one huge student event. May the flavours of our regional cuisine and student music attract you to this amazing event of fortifying the Transform4Europe Alliance in European culture.<\/p>\n
The Festival participants will be provided with lunch on 25-27 April 2023.<\/p>\n
The organiser DOES NOT cover accommodation costs during the Festival in Katowice and Cieszyn.<\/p>\n
