Transform4Europe invites PhD students to take part in the T4EU Week taking place from 20 to 24 May, organised by the University of Primorska in Koper (Slovenia) and the University of Trieste (Italy).<\/p>\n
The event takes place under the theme \u2018Beyond Borders\u2019. Participants will have a chance to take up courses and receive ECTS credits and certificates with their completion:<\/p>\n

- Buildings design driven by new European Bauhaus<\/strong> \u2013 materials science, architecture, civil engineering,<\/li>\n
- Exploring methods for multicultural social science research in the contemporary era<\/strong> \u2013 social science disciplines,<\/li>\n
- Environmental genomics <\/strong>\u2013 biology, environmental sciences, bioinformatics,<\/li>\n
- Symmetry in graphs <\/strong>\u2013 mathematics, computer science,<\/li>\n
- Suicide without borders <\/strong>\u2013 psychology, public health, medicine, social work,<\/li>\n
- Collaborative innovation and design of solutions in tourism <\/strong>\u2013 tourism management, hospitality or related fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Note:<\/strong>\u00a0Travel, food, and accommodation costs for 5 selected PhD students will be financed from the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme. Rules for financing the trip: \u20ac70 EUR per diem for 7 days = \u20ac490 for stay and accommodation (6 overnight stays \u2013 a possibility to have the hotel booked by the University of Silesia; the University organises a group coach trip).<\/p>\n

The number of participants is limited. The participants will be selected based on the assessment of applications for individual courses. You can send your applications\u00a0by 15 March 2024<\/strong>. Priority is given to people who have not yet participated in T4EU Week trips to partner universities.<\/p>\n
Moreover, the universities organising the event are responsible for assigning PhD students to modules; they also reserve the right to make necessary changes (e.g. if there is an insufficient number of participants for a given course, it will not be launched).<\/p>\n
The selected people will be qualified for the trip taking place on 19\u201325 May 2024<\/strong>; the participants depart as one group. There is no possibility of making the stay shorter or longer and departing from or arriving at a different location than the rest of the group.<\/p>\n
