[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]On\u00a017-18 October 2024<\/b>, Saarland University (UniGR-Center for Border Studies), in collaboration with the University of Katowice (Silesian Center for the Study of Regional and Transborder Memory) and the University of Trieste (CRMCS – Centro di Ricerca sulle Migrazioni e la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo) jointly organize a\u00a0T4EU Regional Heritage Workshop\u00a0<\/b>on issues of\u00a0cultural heritage in contexts of border struggles and in (cross-)border alliances<\/span>
\n\u00a0<\/span>
\nThe workshop \u201cBetween Contestation and Proclamation: Cultural Heritage in Border Struggles and (Cross-)Border Alliances,\u201d will be held in the framework of\u00a0Jubilee Conference: 10 years of border studies in the Greater Region<\/b>\u00a0titled:<\/span>
\nBorder Struggles and (Cross-)Border Alliances\u00a0<\/span>organised by the\u00a0<\/b>Center for Border Studies\u00a0of Saarland University.<\/b><\/span>
\nOrganisers invite experts of T4EU partner universities to\u00a0contribute to conducting the conference and workshop\u00a0(two separate\u00a0Calls for papers: Border Struggles and Heritage and Jubilee Conference) ): submissions to panel (up to 3 papers) and paper (20 minutes max.) as well as workshop and roundtable proposals.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the official deadline has already passed (4th<\/sup>\u00a0August), interested experts are asked to send their abstracts (300 words max.) and a short bio-bibliographical blurb\u00a0directly Eva Nossem: to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>e.nossem@mx.unisaarland.de<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<\/span>borderstudies@uni-saarland.de<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
