On 9 October 2025, the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Silesia in Katowice hosted an international academic conference marking the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Political Science.<\/p>\n

The conference was organised by Ma\u0142gorzata My\u015bliwiec, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof., Member of T4EU Steering Committee, and Dean of the USil Faculty of Social Sciences. It brought together representatives of partner universities from the T4EU Alliance, including:<\/p>\n

  5. Elisabetta de Giorgi<\/strong>\u00a0(University of Trieste, Italy)<\/li>\n
  6. Millan Casanova<\/strong>\u00a0(University of Alicante, Spain)<\/li>\n
  7. Nikolina Tsvetkova<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Maria Stoicheva<\/strong>\u00a0(Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Bulgaria).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The conference served as an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss the challenges of contemporary political science, and strengthen collaboration within the Transform4Europe alliance \u2014 reinforcing academic ties and inspiring joint initiatives for the internationalisation of research and education.<\/p>\n
