The proposed workshop is dedicated to the idea of \u201crobot cultures\u201d to foster a comprehensive approach at the crossroads of cultural studies and robotics aimed at examining cultural problems in robot design that come from the misunderstanding of differences between human and machine intelligences. It breaks down into 4 thematic blocks ROBOT IMAGERY, ROBOT SUBJECTIVITY, ROBOT GENDER, ROBOT COMMUNITIES to speak of the \u201crobotic condition\u201d and its meaning vis a vis the anthropocentric vision of intelligent machines.<\/p>\n
