{"id":4481,"date":"2025-02-13T14:01:24","date_gmt":"2025-02-13T13:01:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/t4e\/?p=4481"},"modified":"2025-02-13T14:08:03","modified_gmt":"2025-02-13T13:08:03","slug":"doroczna-konferencja-doktorancka-t4eu-societies-on-the-move-challenges-of-today-prospects-for-the-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/t4e\/en\/doroczna-konferencja-doktorancka-t4eu-societies-on-the-move-challenges-of-today-prospects-for-the-future\/","title":{"rendered":"Annual T4EU PhD conference &#8216;Societies on the Move'"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><p>The <strong>Annual Transform4Europe PhD conference<\/strong> <strong>\u201c<em>Societies on the Move: Challenges of Today, Prospects for the Future<\/em>\u201c<\/strong> will be hosted by <strong>Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski<\/strong> in <strong>Sofia on 1-2 April 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Outstanding keynote speakers will deliver visionary and plenary speeches. <strong>Doctoral students and early-stage academics from all scientific areas<\/strong> are kindly invited to participate, showcase the results of their research work, and engage in discussions with their peers and with established researchers. The participants will receive a certificate jointly issued by the Transform4Europe Alliance universities. The conference papers will be published in Conference Proceedings after scientific review.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will focus on the current and envisaged <strong>challenges today\u2019s societies face due to political and economic crises, war, climate change and the rapid advancement of digital technologies and AI in all spheres of life<\/strong>. It is thematically related to the three Transform4Europe focus areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Societal transformation, community building and inclusion<\/li>\n<li>Digital transformation and smart regions<\/li>\n<li>Environmental Transformation and sustainability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/t4e\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/pliki\/dokumenty\/Transform4Europe_Annual_PhD_Conference_Call_for_papers_Sofia.docx\"><strong>Call for papers<\/strong><\/a> (DOCX, 213KB)<\/p>\n<p><u>Important dates:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>Submission of application forms: <strong>21 February 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/t4e\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/59\/Bez-kategorii\/Application_Form_PhD_2025.docx\"><strong>Application forms<\/strong><\/a> (DOCX, 210KB)\u00a0should be sent to: <a href=\"mailto:transform4europe.su.bg@gmail.com\">transform4europe.su.bg@gmail.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Confirmation of participation: <strong>28 February 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Full paper submission: <strong>30 April 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selected participants will receive advance payment for subsistence and local commuting costs according to business travel rules applied at the University of Silesia (per diem for Bulgaria amounts to 40 EUR), based on a travel form and costs agreement filled in, signed by a participant and approved by the dean of the faculty.<\/p>\n<p>Accommodation and transport will be provided by the University of Silesia. The hotel will be booked and paid for the participants. Flight tickets will be purchased in one batch for the entire group through the cooperating travel agency.
