The University of Silesia in Katowice announces the recruitment of participate in the International Summer School \u2013 InterConnect Alicante Summer School<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The InterConnect Alicante Summer School is an international summer school organised at the University of Alicante and addressed to students from Poland and Spain. The aim of the programme is to develop participants\u2019 intercultural, social, and language competences through collaborative learning and cooperation in international teams.<\/p>\n The programme includes integration workshops and classes focused on effective cooperation in international groups, during which participants will establish principles of teamwork and develop communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. An important element of the programme will be workshops on European values promoting democracy, equality, diversity, solidarity, and respect for human rights.<\/p>\n The classes will be delivered using active learning methods, including project-based work, moderated discussions, educational games, role-playing activities, and tasks carried out in international groups. These activities will enable participants to explore the cultural heritage of Poland and Spain and develop their communication competences.<\/p>\n An important element of the Summer School will be intercultural evenings, during which participants will present the culture, history, and traditions of their countries, strengthening intercultural dialogue and counteracting stereotypes.
