New Series<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8220;, &#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/IudaicaRussica\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span dir=\"auto\">Iudaica Russica<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8220;, &#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/NEO\/index%20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span dir=\"auto\">Neophilologica<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8220;, &#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/PPPM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span dir=\"auto\">Problems of Private International Law<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8220;, &#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/SPP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span dir=\"auto\">Polish and Universal Middle Ages<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8220;, &#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/ssht\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span dir=\"auto\">Silesian Historical and Theological Studies<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8220;, &#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/WSN\"><span dir=\"auto\">Old and New Ages<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8221; and &#8221;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.us.edu.pl\/index.php\/TPDJP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span dir=\"auto\">On the Theory and Didactic Practice of the Polish Language<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0&#8220;);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">prepared English-language abstracts and keywords for publication;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">prepared sets of appendices bibliographies;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">made articles and metadata available on\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/journals.us.edu.pl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span dir=\"auto\">the university journal platform<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">assigned digital DOI identifiers to publications registered in the Crossref database.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">The implementation of the project was made possible by:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">digital access to articles published between 2005 and 2019 (many of them were previously available only in paper form and only on-site at the library);<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">preparing a fully searchable version thanks to OCR;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">the possibility of reaching a wider audience (especially non-Polish-speaking ones) with the research results contained in the articles;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">increasing the number of citations of articles registered in Google Scholar;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span dir=\"auto\">making texts available to people with visual impairments.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span dir=\"auto\">We invite you to read the article summarizing the project entitled\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/gazeta.us.edu.pl\/node\/437853\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span dir=\"auto\">U\u015a Magazines for Everyone<\/span><\/a><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0(authored by Magdalena Krzy\u017canowska).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Silesia Library and\u00a0the University of Silesia Publishing House\u00a0have completed a ministerial project related to the digitization and access to scientific articles under the Social Responsibility of Science II \u2013 Support for Scientific Libraries program (BIBL\/SP\/0050\/2024\/02).
