German Studies<\/strong> degree programme is intended for candidates who associate their future with working in institutions and international enterprises where they use German or Swedish on a daily basis in contact with clients.<\/p>\n We offer intensive learning of German or Swedish, providing knowledge about the realities of German-speaking countries and Sweden, their culture and history.<\/p>\n In addition, students learn the specificity of the studied language and literary and cultural texts that complement their excellent competence in the studied language and participate in translation classes<\/strong> (oral and written). They learn specialised languages, including business language<\/strong>, and can also follow the path of teaching<\/strong> a specialised language.<\/p>\n All classes are conducted by highly qualified academic staff, practitioners, translators and native speakers, including a lecturer from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).<\/p>\n Thanks to cooperation with partner universities in Germany and Sweden and other entities from the socio-economic environment of the region, students have the opportunity to participate, among others: in classes with business practitioners, translation workshops and numerous thematic seminars, including those conducted in Germany (\u2018Haus Schlesien\u2019 in K\u00f6nigswinter).
