Dr Tufan Acil jest badaczem postdoc z Niemiec. Uzyska\u0142 stopie\u0144 doktora na Wolnym Uniwersytecie w Berlinie. Sztuczna inteligencja (AI) zapowiada paradygmatyczn\u0105 zmian\u0119 w dzisiejszym \u015bwiecie. Jej zastosowania nie ograniczaj\u0105 si\u0119 jedynie do bada\u0144 naukowych, technologii, reklamy czy medi\u00f3w spo\u0142eczno\u015bciowych, ale coraz cz\u0119\u015bciej wykorzystuje si\u0119 j\u0105 r\u00f3wnie\u017c w produkcji artystycznej. Niniejsza prezentacja dotyczy pytania, w jaki spos\u00f3b integracja technik AI z dzie\u0142ami sztuki stanowi wyzwanie dla sztuki i jak teoria sztuki mo\u017ce z kolei odpowiedzie\u0107 na nie w wiarygodny spos\u00f3b. Pierwsza cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 zawiera przegl\u0105d mojego aktualnego projektu badawczego zatytu\u0142owanego „Challenges and Limits of the Arts made by AI”. W drugiej cz\u0119\u015bci przedstawiam kilka konkretnych przyk\u0142ad\u00f3w dzie\u0142 sztuki wykonanych przez aplikacje AI i wskazuj\u0119 na problemy, jakie stwarzaj\u0105 one dla sztuki. W trzeciej cz\u0119\u015bci om\u00f3wiono, \u017ce poza procesami i warunkami produkcji, sztuka jest zawsze praktyk\u0105 spo\u0142eczno-kulturow\u0105, kt\u00f3ra obejmuje wymiary subiektywne, takie jak percepcja, intencjonalno\u015b\u0107 i autorefleksja i nie mo\u017ce by\u0107 \u0142atwo zast\u0105piona przez algorytmy lub programowanie komputerowe.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”ENGLISH” tab_id=”1678186446983-3b8ad419-c885″]\r\n

Challenges and Limits of Arts made by AI<\/strong><\/p>\n

Artificial Intelligence (AI) announces a paradigmatic change in today’s world. Its applications are not merely limited to the scientific research, technology, advertising or social media, but it has also been increasingly used within artistic production. This presentation deals with the question of how the integration of AI technics into the artworks challenge the arts and how a theory of art can in turn respond to them in a plausible way. The first part gives an overview of my current research project titled \u201cChallenges and Limits of the Arts made by AI\u201d. The second part introduces some concrete examples from artworks made by AI applications and points to the problems they create for the arts. The third part discusses that beyond production processes and conditions, art is always a socio-cultural practice, which includes subjective dimensions such as perception, intentionality and self-reflection and cannot be easily replaced by algorithms or computer programming.<\/p>\n

Dr. Tufan Acil is a Post-Doc Researcher from Germany and obtained his Phd degree from Freie University of Berlin.
