Piet Defraeye<\/strong> jest teatrologiem, re\u017cyserem teatralnym i wyk\u0142adowc\u0105 zwi\u0105zanym z Wydzia\u0142em Dramatu na University of Alberta w Kanadzie. Badania nad wsp\u00f3\u0142czesnym dramatem i teatrem prowadzi na pograniczu bada\u0144 kulturoznawczych i performatywnych. Szczeg\u00f3lnie interesuje si\u0119 teatrem austriackim, niemieckim i rumu\u0144skim. Jego ostatnie badania dotycz\u0105 postaci Patrice’a Lumumby – kongijskiego dzia\u0142acza zwi\u0105zkowego i polityka walcz\u0105cego o niepodleg\u0142o\u015b\u0107 swojego kraju – w r\u00f3\u017cnych dyskursach kulturowych i artystycznych.<\/p>\n

Piet Defraeye<\/strong>\u00a0is a theatre scholar, theatre director, and lecturer affiliated with the Department of Drama at the University of Alberta in Canada. His research on contemporary drama and theatre is conducted at the intersection of cultural and performance studies. He is particularly interested in Austrian, German, and Romanian theatre. His recent research focuses on the figure of Patrice Lumumba \u2013 a Congolese trade unionist and politician who fought for his country’s independence \u2013 in various cultural and artistic discourses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>[\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”WYK\u0141AD DR ULLI RATHEISER” tab_id=”1747227705615-edcfea50-cabb”]\r\n

Ostatnio jej badania koncentrowa\u0142y si\u0119 na kulturze popularnej, narracjach migracyjnych i reprezentacjach monarchii. Jest cz\u0142onkini\u0105 zespo\u0142u redaktorskiego czasopisma: \u201eAgenda: Advancing Anglophone Studies\u201d, a tak\u017ce cz\u0142onkini\u0105 mi\u0119dzynarodowego zespo\u0142u badawczego \u201eLeokadia Justman’s Survival Story\u201dz siedzib\u0105 na Uniwersytecie w Innsbrucku.<\/p>\n

Ulla Ratheiser<\/strong> is an academic staff member at the Department of English Studies at the University of Innsbruck, where she lectures and conducts research in the fields of literary and cultural studies. Recently, her research has focused on popular culture, migration narratives, and representations of monarchy.
