We are pleased to announce that Dagmara G\u0142uszek-Szafraniec, PhD, DLitt, Assoc. Prof. has been appointed a member of the permanent Commission on Media Studies of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences for the 2024-2027 term.<\/p>\n

The Commission focuses on the immanent and holistic study of the media, their history and theory, and how the media create, process, and transmit knowledge in the communication process, without forgetting the sources and roots of media studies as a discipline of knowledge, but emphasising its substantive and methodological homogeneity.<\/p>\n
