On November 12-14, 2024, Joanna Korzekwa, PhD, Maciej Zubko, PhD, Assoc. Prof. and Krystian Prusik, PhD, Assoc. Prof.<\/strong>, scientist of the Institute of Materials Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology visited the Saarland University in Saarbr\u00fccken (Germany).<\/p>\n

The scientists warmly welcomed by the Institute of Functional Materials Director Prof. Frank M\u00fccklich<\/strong>, and Flavio Solder, PhD Eng.<\/strong> had the opportunity to see the scientific, research and teaching facilities of the Saarland University.<\/p>\n

The representatives of the University of Silesia gave lectures at an open seminar hosted by the Institute of Functional Materials, which were enthusiastically received by the university community in attendance.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the University of Silesia researchers were given a guided tour of the excellently equipped electron microscopy laboratories at INM \u2013 Leibniz Institute for New Materials, led by J\u00f6rg Schmauch, Msc ENG<\/strong> and Christoph Pauly, PhD Eng<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
