We are delighted to announce that the VINCI RELOADED \u2013 Interdisciplinary International Silesian Summer School<\/strong> project submitted by the Faculty of Science and Technology has received PLN 661,100.00 in funding under the NAWA SPINAKER programme \u2013 intensive international education programmes.
\nThe project manager is Agnieszka Nowak-Brzezi\u0144ska, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof. \u2013 Deputy Dean of the Faculty for Promotion and Development of the Faculty od Science and Technology..<\/p>\n

Project duration<\/strong>
\nThe project will be implemented between 1 September 2025 and 31 July 2026.<\/p>\n

Project objective<\/strong>
\nThe main objective of the project is to increase the quality of education of foreign students and to increase the attractiveness of the University of Silesia in Katowice among students from abroad through adaptation of the existing intensive international educational programmes\u00a0 (IMPK) and implementation of one edition of a modified IMPK in English.<\/p>\n

Target group<\/strong>
\nThe target group consists of 25 foreign students who have completed at least 1 year of 1st cycle studies or are in the middle of their 2nd cycle studies (in computer science, chemical sciences, physical sciences, materials engineering, or related fields). They are young people, both from the EU as well as from outside the EU, interested in the research topics offered by IMPK.<\/p>\n

Tasks<\/strong>
\nThe Interdisciplinary International Silesian Summer School is an intensive 3-week program<\/strong> that includes the following for each participant:<\/p>\n
