Prof. Seweryn Kowalski &#8211; Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology for Research and International Cooperation<\/p>\n<p>The project mainly assumes the organizing of an international summer school dedicated to the best worldwide students. The choice of support results from the popularity of the so-called short-term programs, including summer schools and other educational programs lasting from 2 to 8 weeks.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Interdisciplinary International Silesian Summer School<\/strong> is an intensive 3-week program including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>basic classes modules,<\/li>\n<li>projects carried out by students under specialist workshops involving the participation of students in scientific research;<\/li>\n<li>lectures by renowned foreign lecturers;<\/li>\n<li>seminars;<\/li>\n<li>activities promoting Polish culture as well as educational and scientific opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>integration and socializing events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students from EU and non-EU countries who have completed at least 1 year of studies in first-cycle studies or are in the process of second-cycle studies (computer science or chemical sciences or physical sciences or materials engineering) can apply to the VINCI school.<\/p>\n<p>Each of the 40 participants of the School will receive a scholarship of PLN 5,000.00.<\/p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/3&#8243;]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #002a5e;\"><a style=\"color: #002a5e;\" href=\"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/wydzial\/wnst\/en\/strona-glowna\/realizowane-projekty\/projekty-dydaktyczne\/vinci\/\">VINCI.US.EDU.PL<\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>\n<\/div>\r\n                    <\/div>\r\n                <\/div>[vc_single_image image=&#8221;24880&#8243;
