The Research Group on Mining Law and Environmental Protection of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia<\/strong><\/span>, together with the Foundation of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia <\/span>Facultas Iuridica<\/span>, hereby invite participants to the <\/strong><\/span>27th Czech\u2013Polish\u2013Slovak Scientific Conference on Environmental Law<\/span><\/strong>,<\/span> to be held <\/span>on<\/span> 9\u201311 September 2026<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n The theme of this year\u2019s conference will focus <\/span>on the<\/strong><\/span> effectiveness of instruments within broadly understood environmental law<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span> Two principal thematic areas may be identified for conference contributions. The first concerns the<\/strong> assessment of the effectiveness of existing legal solutions<\/strong>, both at the European and the national levels. The second area proposed for discussion encompasses suggestions for change in this field<\/strong>, including both <\/span>de lege ferenda<\/span> proposals and broader concepts or directions in which, in the opinion of conference participants, legislative developments should proceed.<\/span><\/p>\n The conference will have an international character<\/strong>. In addition to representatives from the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia, experts from other countries in the region have also been invited, for whom the effectiveness of environmental regulation remains a current and significant challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n The organizers hope that, as in previous years, the conference will provide a forum for the exchange of views and experiences among scholars, practitioners, and representatives of public administration from Central and Eastern European countries.<\/span><\/p>\n I. Post-Conference Publication:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n Conference participants will have the opportunity to publish their papers in Prawne Problemy G\u00f3rnictwa i Ochrony \u015arodowiska. Manuscripts intended for publication should be submitted no later than 14 September 2026<\/strong>. Please note that only papers prepared in English will be accepted for publication. The length of the article should not exceed 25,000 characters (including spaces), including footnotes.
