{"id":184907,"date":"2025-03-14T09:14:33","date_gmt":"2025-03-14T08:14:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/wydzial\/wpia\/?p=184907"},"modified":"2025-03-14T09:14:33","modified_gmt":"2025-03-14T08:14:33","slug":"beijing-foreign-studies-university-fall-2025-exchange-students-program-call-for-application","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/us.edu.pl\/wydzial\/wpia\/en\/2025\/03\/14\/beijing-foreign-studies-university-fall-2025-exchange-students-program-call-for-application\/","title":{"rendered":"Beijing Foreign Studies University \u2013 Fall 2025 Exchange Students Program &#8211;  Call for application"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column]\r\n                <div class=\"text-modules\">\r\n                    <div class=\"container\">\r\n                        \r\n                        <div class=\"text-modules__content\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Acting on the basis of the agreement with <a href=\"https:\/\/en.bfsu.edu.cn\/\">Beijing Foreign Studies University<\/a>, we are informing about the launch of exchange students program for Fall 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/study.bfsu.edu.cn\/member\/login.do\">Application system<\/a> for Fall 2025 exchange students will open from\u00a0<strong>March 10 to May 31, 2025.<\/strong>\u00a0Please note that BFSU nomination deadline is\u00a0<strong>May\u00a015<\/strong>\u00a0and application deadline is\u00a0<strong>May 31, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please read the following conditions for participation in the program.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In case of interest in participating in the program, please contact Professor Rafa\u0142 Blicharz at <a href=\"mailto:rafal.blicharz@us.edu.pl\">rafal.blicharz@us.edu.pl<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicant Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Applicants must be full-time degree students registered in the home institution. They should first gain recommendation from the home institution, which will then send the nomination form to BFSU.<\/li>\n<li>In consideration of cultural exchange and mutual learning with other countries,\u00a0<strong>applicants should in principle be foreign students without Chinese nationality.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In addition, applicants should also meet the general application requirements and the admission requirements of the applied major. For more information, please refer to our <a href=\"https:\/\/osao.bfsu.edu.cn\/info\/1042\/1957.htm\">website<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Language Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While previous experience of the Chinese language is not necessarily required for the admittance to the exchange program at the School of Chinese Language and Culture, BFSU, incoming exchange students must acquire the Chinese proficiency HSK Level-5 with at least a mark of 180 if they wish to be enrolled in academic courses offered in Chinese, and English proficiency on par with IELTS 6.0 overall if they wish to be enrolled in academic courses offered in English.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Here comes some details you may encounter when going through application for Spring 2025 exchange. Please read it carefully before applying online!<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Passport<\/strong>: If you need to\u00a0RENEWit, please do it prior to application!\u00a0<strong>Once you applied, your passport number can&#8217;t be changed. We are not responsible for any further visa queries if you change your passport number after application.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Student Affirmations<\/strong>: you need to sign it and submit online.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custody release form<\/strong>: All students are required to fill it up and get it signed according to Chinese law. Your parents can be your guardian if they have jobs. You cannot be your own guardian.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Study Duration<\/strong>: There are 2 study duration options in BFSU, 1 semester or 1 year, please choose the one that suits your case.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The guarantor in China in charge of you case<\/strong>is not necessarily a Chinese guarantor. While studying in China, you may run into something urgent. That is why and when we turn to your guarantor to help you out of trouble. If the guarantor is a Chinese or someone physically in China, we do appreciate. But, if such a person in China is not available, your parent, or some of your friends and relatives is also suitable as your guarantor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Recommendation letter<\/strong>: for such a letter, you can either go to your professor or your home university&#8217;s Exchange Students Affairs Office.
