The Research Centre was established to conduct research and implement research projects worldwide, together by Polish and Chinese partners.

The mission of the Centre is to disseminate knowledge and technology developed by Polish and Chinese research units to reduce the main environmental problems and related social issues.

Research and technologies developed by the Centre serve, among all, the reduction of adverse effects of climate change, rational spatial planning in areas endangered by mass movements and floods, and the reduction of the negative impact of air pollution on human health.
