We are delighted and proud to announce that Assoc. Prof. Robert Pyka, PhD, representing our Observatory, has been nominated for the Silesian Scientific Award 2024.
This prestigious distinction is awarded to individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of science, demonstrated outstanding artistic achievements and actively promote Silesian science on both the national and international stage.
The nominees are selected by all universities co-organizing the Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE.
The final award ceremony will take place on 8th of December 2024.
