The latest edition of the MECOG-CE project newsletter documents the phase of practical testing of solutions designed to support metropolitan cooperation and governance in Central Europe.
The newsletter presents, among others:
- updates on the implementation of new solutions in partner metropolitan areas, illustrating how individual tools are adapted to local conditions and integrated into day-to-day governance practice;
- information on new project publications: two dedicated brochures separately present the five pilot actions and the five new solutions developed within the project, while the third publication – MECOG-CE Pilot Actions and New Solutions – brings them together in a coherent and comprehensive overview of project outcomes;
- a summary of two international events that contributed to raising awareness of the metropolitan agenda and the MECOG-CE project outcomes;
- announcements of forthcoming project activities and events, outlining the next steps towards consolidating and disseminating project results, including work on the Strategy for strengthening metropolitan cooperation and governance in Central Europe and dedicated Action Plans aimed at enhancing metropolitan cooperation across all participating metropolitan areas. These topics will constitute the main focus of the next international project partners’ meeting, scheduled for November 2025 in Turin.
