Academic biography

– 1996 Master of Arts in pedagogy, major in early school education, University of Silesia in Katowice

– 2001 PhD degree in pedagogy

– 2017 Associate professor degree in social sciences (pedagogy)

She is currently working on her individual research project “Passion as the Highest Form of Making One’s Biography – A Pedagogical Approach”. She is also a member of the research team that works on the project “The Phenomenon of Courtesy Stigma in Light of Biographical Experiences of Families of Individuals at Risk of Social Exclusion”

– Preparation and realization of research projects of international and domestic character Visegrad Fund Cultivating and forming regional traditions by the Visegrad Group teachers (Zakład Dydaktyki Ogólnej i Pedeutologii), “Bardzo młoda kultura” (Narodowe Centrum Kultury, Regionalny Instytut Kultury w Katowicach)

– Coordinator of the project ,,Klucz do uczenia się – rozwój umiejętności zawodowych nauczycieli wychowania przedszkolnego i edukacji wczesnoszkolnej”, financed by the European Union as part of EFES program

– Coordinator of the program “Tutoring for the Best Students of the University of Silesia”, realized at the former Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology in the course of pro-quality subsidy of MNiSW
