T4EU Innovative Teaching Awards

The Transform4Europe (T4EU) Alliance is pleased to announce the launch of the Innovative Teaching Award, a competition among its member universities to identify and recognize innovative teaching practices. The award aims to promote the sharing and exchange of best practices and encourage cooperation between the higher education institutions of the T4EU Alliance.

Who can apply?

Teaching staff of T4EU partner universities teaching in any BA, MA, PhD, or other programmes are eligible to apply.

Award Categories:

The award categories align with the T4EU Alliance’s main horizontal focus areas:

  • Category 1: The growth of students’ entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Category 2: Digital learning technologies.
  • Category 3: Active teaching methods.
  • Category 4: Co-design: co-teaching and curriculum co-creation.

  • Become a part of an experiential T4EU learning and teaching community.
  • Share and exchange best practices within the alliance.
  • Gain publicity and promote your innovative teaching practices.
  • Find tools to improve your teaching practice and motivate your students.
  • Find partners for potential cooperation between the higher education institutions of the T4EU Alliance.
  • Receive a monetary prize to realize an innovative teaching practice.

How to apply?

Interested candidates can apply by submitting an application form using the following link.

The deadline for applications is 31 January 2025.

Evaluation and Awards:

A mixed committee of experts and students will evaluate the applications.

The winners will be awarded during the conference “Enhancing Professional Excellence: Synergy of Academic and Non-Academic Staff (PROF-SYNERGY)” on 9-10 April 2025, in Kaunas (Vytautas Magnus University).

Monetary Prize:

Each of the four awardees will receive a monetary prize of €2,500 to realize innovative or creative teaching projects. Please note that taxes will have to be paid according to each country’s tax system.
