We are pleased to announce that Assoc. Prof. Robert Pyka, PhD, has been appointed as an expert and reviewer for the French National Research Agency (Agence Nationale de la Recherche – ANR), the French counterpart of Poland’s National Science Centre (NCN).
As a member of ANR’s international evaluation panel, which convened in Paris at the end of April, prof. Pyka reviewed project proposals submitted under the “Sustainable City, Innovative Building” call (Ville Durable et Bâtiment Innovant):

At the same time, prof. Pyka was invited to join the jury panel for the Grand Prix de l’Urbanisme 2024, a prestigious competition organised by the French Ministry for Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion. The jury, which met at the end of April in La Défense, Paris, included only three international experts:
- Prof. Robert Pyka, Polish sociologist
- Philippe Close, Mayor of Brussels (Belgium)
- Sara Ortiz, Spanish sociologist and urban planner
