On 12–13 June 2025, as part of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the University of Wrocław hosts the European University Network Forum, a prestigious event dedicated to the future of European higher education. The Forum provides a platform for dialogue, cooperation and exchange of experiences between representatives of universities affiliated in European university alliances, as well as representatives of public institutions and national agencies.
Transform4Europe is represented at the Forum by:
- Sven Idarand, Secretary-General of the Transform4Europe Alliance from the Estonian Academy of Arts,
- Tomasz Pietrzykowski, Vice-Rector for International and Domestic Cooperation at the University of Silesia in Katowice,
- Małgorzata Myśliwiec, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Silesia, Member of the Steering Committee and T4EU Coordinator at the University of Silesia,
- Francisco Mendes-Palma, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Member of the Steering Committee.
Of particular importance is the participation of Prof. Małgorzata Myśliwiec, who will speak during the thematic session entitled ‘Optimising impact with and for external stakeholders’. Her presentation will focus on the role of European university alliances in building relationships with partners outside the academic sector, including public administration, social organisations and the SME sector.
Transform4Europe’s participation in the Forum is an important voice in the discussion on the challenges and prospects for the European Higher Education Area and confirms the active involvement of the entire Transform4Europe Alliance in building an integrated and innovative educational space in Europe.
