Transform4Europe invites employees of universities and cultural institutions, who are interested in the subject of heritage, to participate in the Transform4Europe Annual Heritage Conference “Common European Heritage – theoretical framework, values, sustainability”, which will be held on 22-23.10.2024 at the Museum of Metallurgy in Chorzów (22.10.2024) and on the campus of the University of Silesia in Cieszyn (23.10.2024).
The aim of the conference is to initiate a debate on the understanding and sustainability of European Heritage and to exchange experiences in this area. The conference will be an opportunity to reflect on the impact of heritage on sustainable development, its role in strengthening the identity of local communities and creative ways of managing heritage.
The target audiance of the event are employees of universities and cultural institutions who are interested in the subject of heritage, including the area of Upper Silesia and various perspectives related to it, the Polish-Czech borderland and Cieszyn Silesia.
