University of Silesia in Katowice

Seven employees of the University of Silesia representing central administration and dean’s offices of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School were hosted at the University of Alicante on 23 and 24 November 2022. The trip was carried out within ‘NAWA Welcome to Poland: First Step to Silesia,’ a project by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.

The goal of the project is to raise the competencies of employees in terms of foreign student service. Our representatives got to know how the office for international mobility at the Spanish university works. They visited four faculties of the University of Alicante, during which their employees shared their experiences related to student service.

Thanks to the hospitality of the University of Alicante, the participants of the trip had the opportunity to sightsee Alicante, learn about its history, and taste the local cuisine.
