Transform4Europe Week in Sofia

Transform4Europe invites PhD students and young researchers to participate in Transform4Europe Week on September 26-30, 2023, organized by the University of Sofia (Bulgaria). Participants will be able to take part in courses, after which they will receive ECTS credits.

1. General (All T4EU Thematic areas): Becoming a researcher – 5 ECTS 2. Specialized (Environmental Transformation): Digital geo-twining for a more effective adaptation of urban environments to climate change – 2 ECTS 3. Specialized (Societal Transformation): Access to information in digital platforms. Media and media structure in Bulgaria – 3 ECTS Detailed information about the courses and the cultural program can be found in the appendix.

Note: The costs of travel, accommodation and meals will be financed from the budget of the T4EU project. The trip will take place on the basis of a business trip order (application of the HR), on the terms set out in order No. 71/2021 of the Rector of the University of Silesia. Up to 14 days from the return, each participant is obliged to settle the trip by submitting a cost statement to the International Mobility Settlement Office. Please read carefully the information available on the website regarding trips abroad.

The application form for doctoral students of the University of Silesia in Katowice is available on the website. The number of places is limited. The selection of participants will be based on the evaluation of applications, which must be sent by June 30, 2023. Priority is given to people who have not yet participated in T4EU Week trips to partner universities this year. Selected participants will be qualified to participate in the trip on September 25, 2023-October 1, 2023 in one group. It is not possible to shorten or extend the departure and departure from/return to a different location than the rest of the group.
