Bootcamp Burgas: Training Week in Bulgaria

The Bootcamp is part of the Transformation Labs aimed to:

  • involve early-stage academics and Master’s students in the life of the Transform4Europe Alliance;
  • stimulate and foster interdisciplinary research in the Alliance’s thematic areas;
  • create conditions to broaden the research possibilities and improve the Alliance’s potential by organising problem-oriented trainings;
  • create opportunities for various types of cooperation with stakeholders.

The thematic focus of the event is sustainable development and environmental transformation, effective climate adaptation and innovations.

The participants will take an active part in initiatives organised within the Bootcamp Burgas between 10 and 12 September 2024. 

The Evaluation Committee will be composed of a representative of the Transform4Europe Office, a representative of the Industry Cooperation Office, and a representative of the Career Office.

The final evaluation of a candidate involves:

  • experience, student activities, additional achievements and merits,
  • English competencies,
  • motivation to participate in the event,
  • proficiency in an additional language,
  • education aligned with the event’s thematic areas.

Three people with the most points based on the Committee’s evaluation will be invited to take part in the Bootcamp taking place between 10-12 September 2024 in Burgas, Bulgaria.

The registration takes place via a dedicated form until 21 July 2024. Those who qualify will receive an email with the information by 1 August 2024 at the latest. They will have travel costs and accommodation covered, they will also receive per diem.
