BIP Programme – Sustainable Personal Finance

Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) in Kaunas, Lithuania, cordially invites students of the University of Silesia to participate in the BLENDED LEARNING PROGRAMME on 12 May 2025 (online) and 19-23 May 2025 (in-person). The guiding theme of the programme is finance in the broadest sense, and the event will be held under the title: Sustainable Personal Finance.

The course includes the following modules:

  1. Welcoming event + cultural event, 19 May
  • Welcoming coffee break
  • Presentations of participating universities
  • Presentation of Homework
  • Cultural event (Kaunas City guide)
  1. Sustainable personal Finance: Theory and Practice + Game night, 20 May
  • Understanding main definitions
  • Understanding the context (Lithuania / Italy / Poland)
  • Understanding practical issues
  • Game night
  1. Sustainable Personal Finance: educational game workshop I, 21 May
  • Educational games trainings
  • Defining the problem
  • Identifying the problem scope
  • Researching the target audience
  • Creativity session
  1. Sustainable Personal Finance: educational game workshop II, 22 May
  • PITCH development
  • Mentoring session
  1. Final presentations + Lunch Buffet, 23 May

The number of places is limited. The deadline for sending applications is 14 February 2025.

Participants will receive a scholarship for the trip as part of the short-term Erasmus+ mobility (number of days, i.e. 7 x EUR 79 = EUR 553), based on the required complete documents signed by the participants and the deans of the faculties, including a financial agreement, application and reimbursement agreement. Based on the scholarship, each participant will independently cover their stay at a hotel/hostel in Kaunas and cover meals.

Transport will be provided by the University of Silesia. Upon return, participants must submit the cost settlement and confirmation of the implementation of the Blended Intensive Programme from the organizing university.

Selected participants will be qualified to participate in the trip from 18 to 24 May 2025 in one group. It is not possible to shorten or extend the trip or to leave from/return to a different location than the rest of the group.
