International Collaboration Opportunity for PhD Students and Early-Career Researchers – T4EU Call for Applications Now Open!

The University of Primorska invites PhD students and early-career researchers from the University of Silesia to participate in an international networking Matchmaking Event, taking place on 4–5 September 2025.

Main theme:
“Heritage – Research and Practice in a Rapidly Changing World”

Focused on heritage and heritage sciences, the event will spark fresh ideas, bold conversations, and exciting interdisciplinary connections under the theme Heritage – Research and practices in a rapidly changing world. Participants will present their work and future innovative ideas in a dedicated pitch session to find shared cultural codes, values, and beliefs among their academic peers acrost T4EU. Building on this, concrete collaboration proposals will be brained stormed on the “Idea Wall”, where each participant will write down keywords, project ideas and their vision of future initiatives. This will be a perfect opportunity to form new collaboration networks that could start in Koper and continue working through correspondence, academic mobility, and joint projects well into the future.
 
Aims:

–                  To bring together young researchers and PhD students who work in the general field of heritage and heritage sciences

–                  To establish dialogue between representatives of different scholarly disciplines focusing on the proposed field

–                  To create conditions for academic staff and students from the T4EU Alliance universities to get to know each other’s work better

–                  To create conditions for academic staff and students from the T4EU Alliance universities to form interdisciplinary teams and work on ideas about future joint endeavours

Travel and accommodation costs: Covered by the project “Internationalisation Development of the University of Silesia in Katowice through the Transform4Europe Alliance”

Please submit the completed, signed, and approved application form according to the template available for PhD students and for academics to the Transform4Europe Office – Rectorate Building, 3rd floor, Room 3.6.
