The traditional Spring Scientific Session (SSS) of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (FMI) at “Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski” will be held on 28–29 March 2026 (Saturday and Sunday) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, 5 James Bourchier Blvd., 1164 Sofia, Bulgaria.
Alongside the specialized sections focused on individual scientific fields of mathematics, computer science, and the teaching of mathematics and computer science, the program of the 2026 SSS of FMI also includes an interdisciplinary section (workshop) entitled “Mathematical Methods and Models in Support of Digital Transformation.” This section will be part of the events held during the year of Sofia University’s rotational presidency of the international university alliance Transform4Europe.
The forum will be dedicated to discussing policies and results related to the development and implementation of new mathematical methods and models aimed at ensuring quality, security, and the effective use of data as a foundation for the digital transformation of the economy and the public sector. A key focus of the program will be the discussion of innovative approaches and good practices for the effective and responsible application of intelligent software agents in various spheres of public life.

- March 14, 2026 – notification of accepted papers
- March 28–29, 2026 – Spring Scientific Session of the FMI (on-site, Sofia with opportunities to join online)
