USil delegation at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon

On 30 and 31 May, the delegation of the University of Silesia was hosted at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon. These two days of meetings were an opportunity to exchange experiences in university management and establish scientific and educational collaboration. The talks concerned: staff and career management, cooperation with business and industry, social responsibility, logistics, research centres, and mobility within the Erasmus+ programme.

Our delegates met, among others, with Prof. Isabela Maria de Oliveira Capeloa Gil, the Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

The University of Silesia was represented by: Chancellor Agnieszka Skołucka, PhD; Agnieszka Maj, Vice-Chancellor for Investments and Logistic Management; Dariusz Laska, Vice-Chancellor for Development and Industry Cooperation; Dariusz Szostek, PhD, DLitt Assoc. Prof., Plenipotentiary of the Rector for Digitalisation; Wioletta Szóstak, PhD, Human Resources Director; Agata Wójcik, Head of the International Relations Department; Agnieszka Kotulska, Plenipotentiary of the Chancellor for Faculty Administration; and Iwona Greiner, Assistant to the Chancellors.

The Portuguese university was represented by: Peter Hanenberg, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation; Isabel Vasconcelos, Vice-Rector for Global Education; Ana Sampaio, Director for Human Resources; Manuela Pintado, Director of the CBQF-Center for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry; Rita Paiva e Pona, Social Responsibility Office Coordinator; Graça Coutinho, Coordinator for International Relations; Joana Carneiro Pinto, Coordinator of the Careers Office at FCH-UCP; Maria João Santos, Head of Careers & Talent at CLSBE; Ana Fabíola Maurício, Head of the Research and Innovation Office; Luís Tribuna, Head of Operations; Pedro Ferreira da Silva, Quality System Coordinator.

Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon has been a member of the Transform4Europe Alliance since 2023.
