T4EU events in Katowice and Cieszyn have come to an end! It has been a week of unique experiences!
Students of Transform4Europe partner universities met for the third time in Katowice at T4EU Week and enjoyed a rich educational offer prepared specially for them. Event participants had the opportunity to take part in 20 hours of classes within seven modules developing a variety of skills, as well as a short Polish language course implemented as part of the ‘Languages for lunch’ initiative. It was also a great opportunity to meet new people and perhaps develop long-lasting friendships. The slogan of this year’s T4EU Week in Katowice was communication for a better future.
The most important annual meeting of the Alliance, the Strategic Assembly, took place at the University of Silesia and included discussions about our European University’s future initiatives and new ideas, as well as a summary of past activities. An important highlight of the programme was the handover of the presidency – from 2023 to 2024 the presidency was held by the University of Silesia in Katowice and now Vytautas Magnus University has taken over the reins.
T4EU events in Katowice and Cieszyn also included the Policy Conference, the ‘Diplomacy of universities’ debate, the Global Partnership Forum addressing the topic of water, and the first edition of the Annual Heritage Conference focusing on European heritage and sustainable development in its context.
Participants also had the opportunity to get to know each other better through a wide range of accompanying events. The programme included social events, excursions, concerts and even a film night. Those interested were able to take part in mindfulness workshops, sports challenges and the unique culinary event – the Grand T4EU Pierogi Contest.
Thank you for participating in T4EU events! See you next time in Katowice and Cieszyn!
