The University of Silesia in Katowice, as a member of the Transform4Europe consortium – one of the European university alliances bringing together 10 universities – is organizing a Global Partnership Forum meeting under the theme Water: A Catalyst for Global Partnerships and Sustainable Development.

The meeting aims to bring together stakeholders from different backgrounds and sectors to discuss the eponymous issue of water, both salt and fresh, examining the role of water in connecting communities and institutions in Europe and around the world.

The forum aims to highlight the role of water as a resource beyond economic value, essential for the stability of inter-state relations and as a human right, and to promote sustainable water management practices in line with T4EU’s mission, fostering cooperation among alliance members and other experts in the field.

A detailed program of the event is attached.

The “Global Partnership Forum” conference will be held on October 22, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:15 pm at the Operations Café in the spinPLACE building (Katowice, 5 Bankowa Street). Architectural accessibility of the building.
