The initiative is designed to bring together social scientists interested in expanding their international research horizons and building meaningful academic connections across borders.

During three dynamic and interactive workshop days, participants will take part in engaging sessions led by faculty members of the University of Silesia. The programme combines practical training, collaborative exercises, and creative group work aimed at developing ideas for international research cooperation.

Participants will explore strategies for identifying foreign partners, navigating international funding opportunities, and transforming research concepts into collaborative projects. The workshops emphasize teamwork, exchange of perspectives, and hands-on learning in an open and supportive atmosphere.

Beyond the academic programme, the event offers space for informal conversations, shared experiences, and social gatherings inspired by the unique cultural heritage of Upper Silesia — creating opportunities to connect not only as researchers, but also as members of an international academic community.
