The Centre for Microscopic Research on Matter SPIN-Lab, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science and Technology, will soon launch a specialized seasonal school in microscopy, accompanied by a series of scientific seminars, the centre will be responsible for microscopy panel.  The initiative has been awarded funding under the SPINAKER program, Intensive International Education Programs,  as part of the call announced on September 23, 2024.

This school is designed for students, PhD candidates, and researchers interested in cutting-edge imaging techniques and the analysis of matter. The curriculum will emphasize the practical use of microscopy across a range of fields, including materials engineering, chemistry, geology, environmental engineering, medicine, and public health.

With access to the advanced research infrastructure of SPIN-Lab, participants will develop skills in molecular-scale imaging and spectral analysis, including large-area applications. The seasonal school and accompanying seminars will have an interdisciplinary profile, offering a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange, international networking, and hands-on research training.

We’re looking forward for the project to begin!
