We are pleased to announce that the SPIN-Lab Centre for Microscopic Research on Matter — has been equipped with a modern device for ion surface polishing: the SEMPrep SMART by Technoorg Linda Co.
Last week, the laboratory team participated in a specialized training conducted by Technoorg Linda, during which participants gained practical skills in operating the new system.
The ion beam polisher enables precise preparation and smoothing of sample surfaces using a focused ion beam. This technology represents a key step in preparing samples for high-resolution microscopy and advanced materials research.
With this new equipment, SPIN-Lab significantly expands its capabilities in sample preparation and material analysis, thus opening up new research and technological perspectives.
