On June 25, 2024, our Center hosted a business breakfast for representatives of public institutions involved in inspection and quality control in the agri-food sector. The event began with a presentation on Spin-Lab’s activities by our Director, Dr. Eng. Marcin Libera. Following this, Vice-Rector Prof. dr. hab. Michał Daszykowski discussed macro- and microchemical modeling in the context of applications in agriculture and food adulteration, which garnered significant interest from the participants. Agnieszka Bylina gave an interesting overview of current grain testing techniques. The President of Uni-Export Instruments Polska Sp. z o.o. presented the latest equipment trends in scanning microscopy, highlighting recent technological innovations.
After the presentation panel, all guests had the opportunity to tour our laboratories, exploring the advanced equipment capabilities and the results of our previous analyses of the micro- and nano-structure and composition in the microareas of grain samples and plant pathogens.
The meeting was an excellent opportunity for exchanging knowledge and experiences and establishing new industry contacts.
