The Youth Think Tank initiative connects Ukrainian youth in Poland with experts from various fields, creating a platform for meaningful exchange and hands-on learning about European values.

Purpose of the meeting:
The event is aimed at people from Ukraine who would like to gain a better understanding of Polish cultural specificities, particularly in the area of professional life. During the meeting, the cultural similarities and differences between Poland and Ukraine will be discussed. Practical examples will be used to demonstrate how these differences relate to job searching, job interviews, and professional activity. Basic information on developing intercultural competences will also be presented, together with their importance for everyday functioning.
Speaker:
Dr Rafał Cekiera – an expert in the sociology of migration, religion, and culture. As part of the Centre for Support and Integration in Katowice, between 2022 and 2025 he conducted a total of 26 full-day integration workshops, in which 335 people from Ukraine participated.
Participation is free.
Registered participants who take part in the discussion will receive a certificate stating: “Participation in this event is recognised as two hours of community engagement.”
Small gifts are also planned for the most active participants.
