The School is an organisational unit of the University of Silesia, teaching particularly in the field of arts and artistic disciplines.
The Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School employs staff with the greatest artistic output and scientific achievements.
The School is a hub for educational activity connected to the carried-out degree programmes, as well as for artistic and scientific activity.
We run the following degree programmes:
- Film and Television Directing
- Cinematography and Photography
- Film and Television Production
- Creative Management in New Media
The School includes atelier, specialist workrooms for: large format photography, editing, multimedia techniques, photography, and IT, as well as a library and archives.
Moreover, the Institute of Film and Theatre Arts conducting artistic activity in photography, film and theatre arts operates at the School.
