From March 17 to March 22, 2025, M.A. Dominik Gabor, a PhD candidate at the University of Silesia, participated in an international event held as part of the Programme in European Private Law for Postgraduates (PEPP) organized by KU Leuven (Belgium). This event brought together Ph.D. candidates and researchers from across Europe who had the opportunity to take part in lectures, workshops, and discussions dedicated to private law issues in the European context.
During the visit, topics addressed included environmental protection in private law, the reform of Belgian civil law, and the impact of artificial intelligence on intellectual property law. The program also included study visits to European Union institutions in Brussels and preparation for a Moot Court simulation.
During the event, M.A. Dominik Gabor also delivered a presentation on his doctoral dissertation titled “The dissemination of works by streaming on a comparative legal background“, which focused on the copyright nature of the streaming process of works on the Internet.
